I am a passionate advocate for sustainable development and inclusive growth, currently serving as Sustainability Lead on the Board of Africa Untamed; a premier Destination Management Company in Kenya that is redefining travel through a regenerative lens. Our approach combines wildlife conservation, ecosystem restoration, and community empowerment to create experiences that are both enriching and impactful.
My experience span across sustainability strategy, ESG and impact reporting, and technical assistance across diverse sectors—renewable energy, agriculture, water, and financial inclusion—I bring a systems-thinking approach to embedding sustainability at the core of business operations. My work has spanned private equity, climate finance, and fintech, where I’ve led initiatives promoting gender equality, carbon footprint reduction, and social impact measurement for over 60 companies across Sub-Saharan Africa.
At Africa Untamed, I lead the integration of regenerative principles into our tourism practices and guest itineraries. We are guided by an in-house Theory of Change aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and we are currently developing a tailored impact measurement tool to assess whether each trip and practice delivers on our intended outcomes—across community, conservation, and climate.
By championing local sourcing, cultural preservation, and nature-positive tourism models, we aim to shift the narrative around African travel centering on local voices and ecosystems. We believe travel can be a powerful force for good when done thoughtfully, and We are committed to reshaping how the world experiences Africa: respectfully, responsibly, and regeneratively.
